Meditation Tips


Below I've given you some really basic meditation tips that you may find useful:
  1. Find a quiet, comfortable place free from distraction where you can relax and get into the 'zone'.
  2. Start your meditation music so that it's playing softly in the background.
  3. Sit with your limbs uncrossed and with a straight back, hands in your lap.
  4. Once you are in position, ensure that you are breathing at a regular speed, whilst at the same time ensuring you take deep breathes. You should start to feel really relaxed now!
  5. Shut your eyes and focus your mind upon a beautiful scene, something natural that makes you feel calm just by looking at it.
  6. Use a candle to make focusing easier. Begginers can find it difficult meditating with their eyes closed. A lit candle can be a fantastic point of focus.
